BBKern DESIGNS is an architectural design and drafting firm, developing working drawings for new custom residential homes, additions, and remodels.  As a professional member of AIBD, Bernie is a specialist in residential building design.  As a home design proceeds, Bernie educates clients about the latest, state-of-the-art materials that can be used for new homes.  As your building designer, he can be your closest advisor when planning and designing your new home, and can help you stay within a budget by exploring alternate solutions to your home design.

Bernie has owned and operated BBKern DESIGNS for nearly 20 years, designing custom homes and commercial buildings for local clients in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and for other clients around the country.  Using a contract between the building designer and the client ensures satisfaction for each project.  The contract describes the scope of the proposed work, the amount of the budget, specific services that you expect to receive, and an agreed upon payment schedule.

Bernie is a member of the American Institute of Building Design.     We use licensed AutoCAD design tools.
